Joseph attended the University of Wisconsin on a hockey scholarship and was not drafted into the NHL, but signed as a free agent to the St. Louis Blues in 1989. A year later he was named the team's starting goaltender.
In 1994 Joseph was traded to the Edmonton Oilers.He instantly became a fan favourite,and some still miss him to this day.
But in the summer of 1998,Curtis signed a four year contract with the Toronto Maple Leafs worth 24 million dollars(I think he deserves even more!).
Joseph has also proudly worn the red and white jersey, representing Canada at the World Championships, World Cup,and the Olympics. |  |
